Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking talented Sr. Firmware Engineer will be responsible for developing world class firmware to fully maximize the strong hardware architecture of in-house servers. We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for networking products, prototyping concepts, and investigating in new technologies. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.  Develop IPMI and Security related features
2.  OEM project maintain, and customer service
3.  Responsible for designing, debugging, porting, defining, developing, testing and maintaining new kernel feature of BMC/IPMI related software and firmware for Server System.
4.  Work closely with the software and hardware teams to develop and integrate embedded code to work with a variety of devices (MCU, CPLD, FPGA, etc..).

Qualifications:

1. BS in EE or CS/CE preferred
2. 5+ of the following requirements should be matched: 

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Linux Shell and Java Scripts.
• Experience in IPMI development for 5+ years, OpenBMC is preferred
• Experience in embedded or Linux vulnerability discovery or malware detection. .
• Knowledge in some protocols: IPMI, Redfish, SNMP, I2C, SPI, PMBUS.
• Knowledge in Secured Boot, or ROT. 
• Knowledge in TPM implementation. 
• Knowledge in OCP remote Attestation Spec
