Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Porting and bring up Intel, AMD, ARM server platforms on the OpenBMC codebase
• Support OpenBMC platform enablement, including device tree / HW configuration, driver integration, and boot-up validation
• Perform BMC firmware development, debugging, testing, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain IPMI and Redfish APIs for RoT-related features
• Collaborate with EE/hardware engineers on new platform bring-up, hardware validation, and issue resolution
• Support build system, CI, and release activities related to OpenBMC/Yocto-based BMC firmware

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred; Master's degree strongly desirable
• 3+ years of embedded/BMC firmware development experience
• Hands-on experience with OpenBMC, platform porting/bring-up, and Linux/C/C++ development
• Knowledge of IPMI, Redfish, and server platform architecture
• Strong debugging, testing, and cross-team collaboration skills
• Experience with Intel, AMD, and/or ARM server platforms preferred
• Familiarity with one or more software or hardware protocols preferred, such as I3C, I2C, USB, UART, PECI, MCTP, PLDM, SSIF, and PMBus
• Linux driver development experience is a plus
