Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  1. Create schematics, conduct layout checks, create BOM, perform debugging, and oversee testing of server board/add-on card products.
  2. Undertake the modification and enhancement of existing designs to elevate the quality standards of server motherboards.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify and address potential engineering issues at an early stage, ensuring products achieve their maximum quality and performance potential.
  4. Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, and detailed test procedures.
  5. Ensure strict adherence of products to engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
  6. Facilitate the seamless transfer of products to manufacturing through clear documentation and provide technical support to resolve any challenges during the production phase.
  7. Deliver clear documentation and robust technical support to contract manufacturers and the production department during both product sampling and production stages.
  8. Undertake short-term business trips as necessary to provide support for headquarters projects.
  1. Experience with VHDL: While Verilog is preferred, familiarity with VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language) is beneficial.
  2. Knowledge of Digital Design: Understanding of digital design principles, including state machines, timing analysis, and logic optimization.
  3. Debugging and Testing: Skills in debugging and testing CPLD/FPGA designs using tools like ModelSim, Synopsys, or equivalent.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with x86 server boards is preferred.
  3. In-depth knowledge of circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
  4. Hand-on experience on lab oscilloscopes and debugging skills.
  5. Highly valued: Previous experience in motherboard design for enterprise networking servers
  6. Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and oral, along with effective interpersonal abilities
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional/cross-site teams.
  8. Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  9. Self-motivated individual with a team-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
