Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server and GPU platform hardware.
- Create detailed schematics, hierarchical sub-designs, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, CPLD, MCU and validation engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Design review and approve design documents, schematics, and layouts.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
- Debug and resolve hardware issues, working closely with validation and QA teams.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and best cost efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Present design reviews and project updates to stakeholders and management.
- Provide technical support to customers and field application engineers.
- Address and resolve customer issues related to hardware design and performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned and is willing to support the business travel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering related is preferred.
- Typically 5-10 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard design and verification tools.
- Strong debugging skills using CScript tool, RMT, FW update tool and the lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR and logic / Protocol analyzers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate product team, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic on working in fast-paced environment
- Additional Qualifications:
(1)Knowledge of EMC and energy regulations.
(2)Experience with high-speed signal design and power integrity analysis.
(3)Familiarity with server architecture and data center environments.
(4)Experience in Verilog top-level coding, CPLD design is preferable.
