Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server and GPU platform hardware.
  2. Create detailed schematics, hierarchical sub-designs, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, CPLD, MCU and validation engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  4. Design review and approve design documents, schematics, and layouts.
  5. Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
  7. Debug and resolve hardware issues, working closely with validation and QA teams.
  8. Optimize designs for manufacturability and best cost efficiency.
  9. Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
  10. Present design reviews and project updates to stakeholders and management.
  11. Provide technical support to customers and field application engineers.
  12. Address and resolve customer issues related to hardware design and performance.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned and is willing to support the business travel.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering related is preferred.
  2. Typically 5-10 years’ experience.
  3. Proficiency in circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
  4. Hands-on experience with industry-standard design and verification tools.
  5. Strong debugging skills using CScript tool, RMT, FW update tool and the lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR and logic / Protocol analyzers.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  7. Ability to effectively communicate product team, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
  8. Self-motivated and enthusiastic on working in fast-paced environment
  9. Additional Qualifications:
    (1)Knowledge of EMC and energy regulations.
    (2)Experience with high-speed signal design and power integrity analysis.
    (3)Familiarity with server architecture and data center environments.
    (4)Experience in Verilog top-level coding, CPLD design is preferable.
