Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support global IT operations and infrastructure responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

  1. Administer and maintain internal license servers, including service monitoring, troubleshooting, availability checks, and user access support.
  2. Manage server patch management platforms and related processes, including patch planning, testing, deployment, exception handling, and patch compliance tracking for Windows and Linux servers.
  3. Support and maintain enterprise email systems, including Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, mail flow, mail spam system, distribution groups, permissions, and email-related troubleshooting.
  4. Perform overall server administration and maintenance, including Windows Server and Linux Server operation, system monitoring, incident troubleshooting, access control, capacity checks, backup verification, and routine maintenance.
  5. Support infrastructure solution evaluation and implementation, including storage, backup, virtualization, and other enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.
  6. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operation procedures, system records, troubleshooting notes, and change records.
  7. Participate in IT infrastructure improvement projects, proof-of-concept testing, risk assessment, and technical evaluation for new solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Windows Server Administration (must have)
    • Hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, file permission management, Windows services, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with enterprise Windows Server operations, access control, server maintenance, and production issue handling.
  2. Linux Server Administration (Highly preferred)
    • Hands-on experience in Linux Server administration, including system services, storage, networking, permissions, patching, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to manage Linux servers in a production environment and independently investigate system-level issues.
  3. Virtualization and Software-Defined Storage
    • Experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox VE, VMware, Hyper-V, or similar solutions.
    • Experience with Proxmox VE cluster administration is highly preferred.
    • Experience with Ceph, CephFS, RBD, OSD management, cluster health monitoring, storage troubleshooting, or software-defined storage solutions is highly preferred.
  4. Microsoft 365 / Exchange Administration
    • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, or on-premises Exchange administration.
    • Familiarity with mailbox management, mail flow, distribution groups, permissions, relay, and email-related troubleshooting.
  5. Server Patch Management
    • Experience with server patch management, patch deployment planning, patch compliance tracking, exception handling, and troubleshooting patch-related issues.
    • Experience with patch management or endpoint/server management platforms such as Ivanti Cloud, WSUS, SCCM, Ansible, AWX, or similar tools is a plus.
  6. Infrastructure Operations
    • Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure technologies such as virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, monitoring tools, and high availability design.
    • Experience with NAS, SAN, backup storage, TrueNAS, or other storage-related solutions is preferred.
  7. Privileged Access and Security Awareness
    • Experience with privileged access management, password management, or access control platforms such as Thycotic or similar solutions is a plus.
    • Must have basic security awareness, including access control, least privilege, patch compliance, and change management concepts.
  8. Automation and Scripting
    • Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Shell Script, Ansible, or similar tools is preferred.
    • Ability to automate routine operations, configuration checks, or maintenance tasks is a plus.
  1. Soft Skills
    • Good troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Must be responsible, detail-oriented, security-conscious, and able to work independently in a production IT environment.
