Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development schedule with function teams for Supermicro GPU server products.
- Working closely with function teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the product's design and facilitates communication and cooperation among these teams.
- Bridge the development team and validation team to communicate seamlessly to solve issues quickly.
- Control project development schedules from initial design to mass production.
- Work with SYS PM, CM, and buyers to input accurate forecast for customer future demands.
- Provide regular trainings including SMCI product roadmap, design features to SYS PM, sales and channel partners.
- Work with Sales/FAE/SYS PM to promote GPU solutions in SMCI, such as different popular applications for different GPU systems.
Qualifications:
• BSEE/CS, or equivalent. MSEE is desirable.
• 10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware/Solutions, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability for organization goals.
• Proven record that includes 3+ years in product management of Intel/AMD-based servers.
• Excellent knowledge of server systems, and computer peripherals is required
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
• Effective organization and planning skills.
• Familiarize with server level GPUs is a plus.
• Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs.
• Proven quantitative, analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Solid communications skills, both verbal and written in English is a must.
