About Supermicro:

Supermicro® is a Top Tier provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions for Data Center, Cloud Computing, Enterprise IT, Hadoop/ Big Data, Hyperscale, HPC and IoT/Embedded customers worldwide. We are the #5 fastest growing company among the Silicon Valley Top 50 technology firms. Our unprecedented global expansion has provided us with the opportunity to offer a large number of new positions to the technology community. We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.

Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Global Senior Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and play a key role in driving global talent acquisition initiatives. In this hands-on position, you will recruit top-tier talent to support Supermicro’s global operations, including our headquarters in San Jose, California, and our operations in the Netherlands.

As a full-cycle recruiter, you will own end-to-end recruiting processes — from proactive sourcing to offer closure — with a strong focus on technical and hard-to-fill roles critical to our operational excellence. You will demonstrate strong leadership in talent acquisition by partnering closely with hiring managers, particularly in situations where hiring needs are vaguely defined or operate on a reqless (requisition-less) basis. This requires the ability to clarify requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality candidates even with limited initial direction.

This position is based onsite in Zhonghe, New Taipei City, and is part of the US Talent Acquisition team headquartered in San Jose.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and identify high-caliber talent for current and future needs using diverse channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified passive and active candidates, with particular emphasis on Engineering and technical roles.
  • Conduct thorough resume screening, candidate assessments, and interviews to evaluate technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison to hiring managers, providing recruiting expertise and leadership to refine role requirements, especially in ambiguous or reqless hiring scenarios.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate engagement, interview coordination, feedback management, and offer negotiations (in partnership with the compensation team).
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics, maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Collaborate with the broader recruiting team to share best practices and continuously improve sourcing and hiring strategies.
  • Stay informed on talent market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry developments in the technology and hardware manufacturing sectors.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to enhance Supermicro’s appeal to passive candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Minimum 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within the technology industry, EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services), hardware manufacturing, or a staffing/headhunting environment.
  • Proven expertise in global sourcing and recruiting, particularly for Engineering, technical, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Demonstrated success in reqless/proactive sourcing and ability to deliver results when hiring requirements are vaguely defined.
  • Strong hands-on leadership capability with the ability to guide hiring managers and influence recruiting outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully engaging and closing passive candidates.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools, especially LinkedIn Recruiter, and experience with ATS platforms.
  • High sense of urgency, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
