Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning and differentiation for on-prem cloud software products.
2. Define, prioritize, and plan product features and roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
3. Write clear product requirements and user stories, and coordinate internally with engineering, QA, and design teams to drive execution and on-time delivery.
4. Respond to customer inquiries and support pre-sales activities, including product demos, technical clarifications, and RFP/RFI responses.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with FAE, sales, and engineering teams to align product capabilities with customer and hardware requirements.
6. Gather and analyze customer feedback and real-world deployment challenges, translating them into actionable product requirements and improvements.
7. Own the software feature lifecycle from concept to release, tracking progress and communicating status to stakeholders.
8. Influence product direction and roadmap decisions by bringing market insights and customer needs into product discussions.
9. Manage the software development lifecycle in accordance with company work-in-process (WIP) controls and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or related software product roles.
2. Understanding at least one of the following technologies: networking, distributed systems, virtualization, container orchestration (Kubernetes), GPU scheduling, system lifecycle management or high-performance computing (HPC), sufficient to engage in technical discussions with engineers.
3. Proven ability to conduct competitive analysis, define product requirements, and prioritize features across the product lifecycle.
4. Excellent English communication skills, to collaborate effectively with engineers, QA, security, FAE and sales teams, as well as engage with customers.

Preferred:

• Experience managing enterprise or infrastructure software products, or working with large-scale cloud architectures.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, including product demos, RFP/RFI responses, and pre-sales support.
