Job Summary:

A high-performance product management team is seeking an Technical Solutions Architect who can lead the technical engagements with enterprise customers. This individual will not only have the broad and in-depth understanding of enterprise application and IT infrastructure, he or she will also be willing to practice his or her years of hands-on experiences in system engineering and debugging activities. The Sr. Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible as a technology advisor, and oversee the infrastructure solution delivery to Supermicro's strategic customers in the enterprise market segment. This role requires influencing multiple internal teams to deliver high quality products to meet customer expectations and to facilitate product improvements through new feature definition and proof of concept planning and execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architecture solutions tailored to client needs. This includes selecting appropriate cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), designing infrastructure, and ensuring robust integration with existing systems.

Research and Development: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging technologies and trends in cloud services. Develop innovative solutions and prototypes to address complex challenges and enhance service offerings. Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud computing, including AI, machine learning, and IoT integrations.

Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Analyze and optimize cloud service performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency. Implement monitoring and strategies to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal operation of cloud environments.

Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions meet industry standards and compliance requirements. Implement security best practices, including data encryption, access control, and vulnerability management. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to protect client data and infrastructure.

Client Collaboration and Support: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements. Provide expert guidance, technical support, and training to help clients maximize the benefits of their cloud investments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-quality cloud solutions.
 

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in cloud computing can be advantageous.

Over 20 years of experience in Cloud service environments, including at least 10 years of successfully leading large teams, such as those consisting of hundreds of members.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services (e.g., compute, storage, networking). Experience with cloud-based application development, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD: Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions. Experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and tuning of cloud services. Ability to conduct research and stay updated with the latest technological advancements.
