Job Summary:

We are seeking a Power Solution Engineer who can assist product development and validation of server power supply and related products. This individual will be required to work cross-department and assist product managers (PM) as needed in product development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, and developing or executing project plans

• Evaluate and debug design prototypes on the bench and generate detailed engineering reports of findings and recommendations

• Perform Failure analysis that can identify root cause of power supply failure

• Perform Server System compatibility validation and troubleshooting

• Perform I2C and PMbus communication analyses

• Check and make preliminary FA for RMA units

• Support other teams or labs to fix power supply issues

• Support PM's activities

Qualifications:


• BSEE with minimum 4 years of experience in switching power supplies and x86 server system is strongly desirable

• Hands on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, programmable AC sources and DC loads

• Experience with I2C or PMbus interface, or LABVIEW is a plus

• Ability to complete projects independently

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
