What You'll Do

  • On-Site Field Repairs: Work in a Datacenter environment at customer locations, providing on-premise repair and maintenance of server systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Determine the root cause of technical issues, research solutions, and implement corrective actions, escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact directly with customers to clarify problems, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, account managers, and developers to ensure all service-related issues are handled smoothly and professionally.
  • Service Excellence: Uphold high standards of service quality, managing escalations professionally and contributing to training materials and fault triage.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer needs.

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience (including military or CLEP qualifications).
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with server systems (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP).
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, conflict resolution experience, and proficiency in touch-typing (40+ WPM).
  • Technical Knowledge: Background in Linux or networking is a plus.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 15 days per year as needed.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • In-Office Requirement: Regular in-office attendance is required, as the role involves participation in team meetings, training, and other on-site activities.

Salary Range

$24.00/hr - $42.00/hr 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
