Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer B.V. is looking for Associate Repair Engineer to work in the RMA/Repair Department located in the Netherlands, who has good repair experience and soldering skill to perform RMA Repair job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead team members to complete server repairs according to the schedule and assist them in resolving technical issues.
- Train new team members on server repair procedures and provide support to the testing team when needed.
- Develop clear and easy-to-follow testing SOPs for technicians. After resolving a problem, complete the required documentation and share it with the team.
- Study the testing SOP whenever a new server model is announced, and share repair experiences with team members to continuously improve team capability.
- Ensure repaired products are returned to customers on schedule, and regularly monitor team members’ repair progress and quality.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in computer or server hardware repair and troubleshooting
- Experience in leading or mentoring junior technicians is a plus.
- Willing to learn new product knowledge and conduct testing.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
