Job Summary:
As the market leader in professional server solutions, Supermicro is seeking an experienced and innovative (Associate) Product Manager - Key Components that can help us grow our technologies into the parallel computing and hyper-converged spaces. This is a fast moving, emerging business, and successful candidates will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, manage multiple initiatives, engage at all executive levels both inside Supermicro and with partners, and have proven track record of developing products as well as business model from the ground up. The successful candidate will be self-driven and passionate about bringing new solutions to market. This position will be located in the EMEA headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, monitor life cycle according to roadmap, promote mainstream products or new products;
- Manage project inquiry from initial stage of RFQ and eventually win the deal , shall follow up fulfillment with requested delivery schedule;
- Arrange components test validation, follow up with test complete time to support business demand;
- Work closely with sales/FAE to increase complete system business growth;
- Negotiate best price and gain allocation from vendors to support business;
- PO management, control delivery lead time;
- Maintain and improve good relationships with vendors, participate partner event or QBR.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree, major in Electronic Engineering is a plus;
- 1+ year related computer system or key components on Supply Chain, Buyer or PM or sales working experience, more is a plus;
- Competent in reading, writing and speaking in English is a must, Chinese speaking is a plus;
- Microsoft office work experience is essential, especially on Excel and PowerPoint;
- Demonstration of strong ownership and reliability;
- Good communication skill, able to express clearly, in written or verbally to achieve work goal across various departments and geographies;
- Good negotiation skill and high accuracy sense for numbers;
- Ability to work in dynamic working environment, willing to accept challenges;
- Has strong team spirit, and work in structure with time management scope.
