Voor onze vestiging in Nederland (s-‘Hertogenbosch) zijn wij op zoek naar een uitbreiding van ons huidige team collega's in de service afdeling. Supermicro is al meer dan 30 jaar een begrip op het gebied van Moederborden, Servers en totaaloplossingen waarbij we service verlenen op basis van service contracten voor grote klanten in verschillende sectoren.

1st / 2nd line Datacenter System Engineer
For our branch in the Netherlands (s-‘Hertogenbosch) we are looking for an expansion of our current team of colleagues in the service department. Supermicro has been a household name in the field of Motherboards, Servers and total solutions for more than 30 years, where we provide service based on service contracts for large customers in various sectors.

Over de functie
Als Datacenter System Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het aannemen, registreren en oplossen van diverse problemen op het gebied van server hardware. Het analyseren en oplossen van problemen voor onze internationale klanten doen we zowel op afstand als op locatie bij de klant. Deze rol biedt de mogelijkheid om snel kennis te maken met veel verschillende aspecten van IT bij uiteenlopende klanten. Hierdoor is het een uitstekende kans om jouw kennis en ervaring te verbreden en daarmee de basis te leggen voor de toekomst van jouw carrière. Je gaat deel uitmaken van een zeer hecht team met een goede werksfeer.

Klanttevredenheid staat voorop in deze functie. Jij haalt voldoening uit het oplossen van problemen en kan werken in een omgeving met verschillende culturen en nationaliteiten.

About the job
As a Datacenter System Engineer you are responsible for accepting, registering and solving various problems in the field of server hardware. We analyze and solve problems for our international customers both remotely and at the customer location. This role offers the opportunity to quickly become familiar with many different aspects of IT at various customers. This makes it an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience and thus lay the foundation for the future of your career. You will be part of a very close team with a good working atmosphere. 

Customer satisfaction is focus in this position. You get satisfaction from solving problems and can work in an environment with different cultures and nationalities.

You are flexible and willing to travel occasionally to serve our customers.

Qualifications:

Nederlands

• Een afgeronde MBO4 opleiding richting IT of vergelijkbaar niveau verkregen door ervaring.
• Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
• Je hebt ervaring met 1e en 2e-lijns support.
• Ervaring in datacenters is een pré.
• Je bent communicatief vaardig.
• Je denkt analytisch en probleemoplossend.
• Je maakt snel kennis eigen.
• Je kunt individueel en in teamverband presteren.
• Je hebt (basis)kennis van het Windows OS/Linux.
• Je hebt (basis)kennis van systeembeheer (netwerken, servers, databases).
• Je bent representatief.
• Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs (B) en woont in een straal van 40 km.

• A completed MBO4 degree towards IT or comparable level obtained through experience.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
• You have experience with 1st and 2nd line support.
• Experience in datacenters is an advantage
• You have good communication skills.
• Analytic and problem-solving mindset
• You quickly gain knowledge.
• You can perform individually and under pressure.
• You have (basic) knowledge of the Windows OS/Linux.
• You have (basic) knowledge of system management (networks, servers, databases).
• You are representable.
• You are in possession of a driving license (B) and live withing a radius of 40 km.
