Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to manage critical financial processes, including month-end and quarter-end closes, revenue recognition compliance (ASC 606), and CSRD implementation. This role involves overseeing technical accounting adherence, VAT and reconciliation reviews, intercompany transactions, and preparing accurate financial data for internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Dutch GAAP, strong analytical skills, and 3–5 years of experience in SEC reporting or auditing within high-growth or Fortune 500 environments.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition guidelines (e.g., ASC 606) and oversee contract reviews for technical accounting adherence.
  • Develop and implement processes for CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance.
  • Oversee VAT, Intrastat, and reconciliation reviews to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial data for internal and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors on corporate income tax (CIT) filings and reporting.
  • Execute intercompany processes, including invoicing, transaction recording, account reconciliation, and elimination entries.
  • Analyze financial operating results and prepare supporting schedules for audits and reviews.
  • Streamline existing processes to enhance operational efficiency and develop new procedures to address evolving business needs.
  • Provide support for external audits and internal reviews, including preparation of footnote disclosures.
  • Lead ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis projects, including government census reporting and stakeholder-driven initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA designation or Big 4 experience is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years in SEC reporting, technical accounting, or auditing roles, ideally within high-growth or Fortune 500 companies in high-tech or manufacturing industries.
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Dutch GAAP.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP and Workiva.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proactive and flexible mindset with strong organizational abilities.
  •  Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
