Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a marketing professional who has exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of event marketing operations and strategy with proven experience in physical and virtual event execution.
As a member of the EMEA marketing team, the candidate will work alongside Supermicro’s corporate marketing team to be in full alignment with corporate objectives and messaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Supermicro’s presence at corporate events, trade shows, and sales enablement events. This includes managing event-centered campaigns so that these are fully integrated across marketing vehicles: i.e. audience generation/email communications, event websites, social media, and presentation material.
- A key component of this role is the production of effective event communications in line with the company’s marketing guidelines.
- The candidate will guide internal support staff leading up to and at events and become a marketing liaison for channel and tech collaborators.
- An analysis of the lead generation and return on investment must be performed for each event.
- The sourcing and distribution of branded giveaways for events and sales enablement activities is within the remit of this position.
- From time to time, the candidate will also be tasked with project management, activation, and reporting of regional lead generation activities in support of local business development initiatives in collaboration with technology partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, ideally within the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of event operations, and integrated event marketing.
- Track record of effectively managing a large event budget.
- Proven ability to create program goals and communications (audience-targeted writing and internal staff guidance messaging) with minimal direction.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in using MS Office systems (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Valid driving license.
