Job Summary:

Supermicro is committed to our customers' success through teamwork, attention to detail, and valuing relationships. We have an immediate opening for a Production Team Leader to join our Material Management team responsible for checking and receiving material for production orders of Supermicro products that meet product quality requirements and shipment deadlines. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a production team within kitting, assembly, or packing
  • Organize daily production activities to meet schedule and output goals
  • Ensure team members follow SOP and safety guidelines
  • Train, coach and support team members to improve performance and maintain high quality
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure on time and accurate production
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and managers to resolve issues quicky
  • Perform other assembly line duties, as directed by supervisor
  • Support continues improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Follow and implement 5S+1 culture

 

Qualifications:

  • High school or college diploma preferred
  • 1-3 years Team Leading experience in the electronic or computer industry preferred
  • Hands on experience in electronic assembly, experience sever or computer plus
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and all other documentation used to control processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to details
  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
  • Solid communications skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in English reading and writing
