Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician that will assemble and integrate servers, install hardware, manage cabling, perform basic configurations, and ensure quality through inspections and testing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and integrate servers and components into racks according to build instructions and engineering specifications.
  • Install and secure hardware components such as servers, switches, cables, and power distribution units (PDUs).
  • Perform basic system configuration, labeling, and cable management to ensure a clean and functional rack build.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and safety guidelines during assembly.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections and functional checks to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate build records and report issues or discrepancies to team leads or supervisors.
  • Testing systems when needed following company procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school or IT related college diploma preferred.
  • 1-3 years rack integration or data center experience.
  • Hands on experience in electronic assembly, experience sever or computer plus.
  • Experience with server rack or computer hardware assembly is a strong plus.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic understanding of cabling, labeling, and hardware installation.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams.
  • Comfortable working with and safely handling rack components and equipment.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficient in English reading and writing.
