Super Micro Computer B.V. is seeking a Quality Engineer for Production who will work with senior management of the global production operations in establishing quality-focus teams, mandating standard practices of quality principles and will attend to the oversight responsibility to all global operations sites and cross-functional departments. This position will be located in the EMEA headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
- Monitor, review and control of manufacturing processes of Netherlands production.
- Collect necessary process yields on product, both of NPI and of production during their respective transformations.
- Compile data to generate DFM feedback report to our design team and assist product design improvement.
- Assist root cause and failure analysis to generate quality improvement initiatives on their CM processes.
- Work with purchasing and related departments to solve the materials quality issues, or support part qualification confirmation through the CM process.
- Provide feedback and drive supplier quality management and improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering for component quality control or special testing, inspection, or experiments.
- Coordinate with production team to improve incoming yields.
- Lead necessary supplier audit at the CM and the raw material suppliers.
- 4-5 years or more of relevant hands-on experience in electronic and computer products, and quality management systems in the computer industry.
- Repair / Debugging Experience (Component Level); Knowledgeable in Electronic Circuits and Schematics.
- Working knowledge and prior experience in system integration business.
- Prior experience in supplier quality control and management.
- Have excellent communication and analytical skills in problem solving. MS Excel spreadsheet functioning knowledge and skills will be a strong plus.
- Excellent writing style and demonstrated expertise in compiling procedures and documents.
