Job Summary:

As a member of Rack Team at Supermicro, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of server rack integration operations. We hope you will be a fast-learner, team player and with excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop rack integration plans and related support document if required.
• Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Assist/support in the implementation of server, storage and network equipment.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions.
• Work with the engineering team to ensure hardware is installed correctly according to specifications.
• Be willing to travel (internationally and locally) to carry out installations at customers or solve problems in data centers, which includes occasional extended hours and weekend work.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency.
• Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on production operations.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, production management) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a production/Engineer role, preferably in server rack integration or related field is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of server rack integration processes, hardware installation, and cabling.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, you have an excellent command of the English language, Dutch would be a plus..
• Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. Must be solution-oriented, a team player with the ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner and be proactive in driving solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise grade server hardware.
• You live withing a radius of 40 km of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
