Job Summary:

The Sr. Solution Manager utilizes technical skills to research vertical-based customer solutions. This position will be a leader for this technology and create aggressive go-to market plans, manage development of product with cross-functional teams (based on customer feedback), and develop product roadmaps. In addition, this position is a core member of Motherboard Product Management team and engages in technical, product development, marketing, and pre/post-sales support activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the sales teams for business development and solution offering.
  • Ability to grow, expand and accelerate the business growth and drive Supermicro’s vision and goals 
  • Proactive pre-sales and post sales engagements to build customers confidence and trust.  
  • Position Supermicro solutions and enable coverage to new and existing customers 
  • Define, track, and report on key business metrics & market responses, including feature penetration, and acceptance.  
  • Drive Sales and customer engagement to new areas and territories.  
  • Influence sales and customers for making right decisions, provide needed guidance and execute project from start to finish. 
  • Excellent Presentation and public facing skills for need to represent the company at the highest level. 
  • Influence and guide various teams and work with them to achieve business goals and objectives 
     

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware/Solutions, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability for organization goals. 
  • 5+ years in Solution development, marketing and business strategy for Total solutions and deployment
  • Proven quantitative, analytical, customer facing and technical skills.
  • Self-starter and high motivation to excel and succeed. 
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, management, and decision-making skills. 
  • Superior communication and teamwork skills; Fluency in oral and written English is a must. 
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels. 
  • BSEE/CS, or equivalent. MSEE is desirable.
