Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Engineer with strong background in server architecture and take ownership in its product development. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge in the market trend and partner with Product Manager to define product vision and strategy for server/system products. The candidate will also work with cross-functional engineering teams to perform new product development, test, validate, and fine-tuned to maximize the efficiency and durability of the product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Invoice BOM as configuration order approval.
• Production/Field issue resolution.
• Sales/Customer product inquiry.
• RMA/Service co-ordination.
• HPC/Benchmarking testing.
• POC testing setup & guidance.
• Cluster solution or application optimization.
• Provide technical training to production/technical support/on-site service teams.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in EE, CE, or equivalent, with minimum of 4+ years engineering experience in server/data center field is desirable.
• Experiences in server industry with hardware technical background, software background.
• Preferably in OS administration with hands-on skills such as Linux related operating systems. Script compiling skill is a plus.
• Willing to learn server technology with can-do, logical, cross-department communication attitude.
• Preferably fluent with English; Dutch/Mandarin is a plus.
