Job Summary:

The Sr. Product Manager utilizes technical skills to research vertical-based customer solutions. This position will be a leader for this technology and create aggressive go-to market plans, manage development of product with cross-functional teams (based on customer feedback), and develop product roadmaps. In addition, this position is a core member of Motherboard Product Management team and engages in technical, product development, marketing, and pre/post-sales support activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the sales teams and extended team members to map customer business and partner requirements to technical solutions.
• Provide proactive pre-sales technical leadership and oversight to the implementation of these solutions. 
• Identify Supermicro product features and enhancements and manage their entire lifecycle from idea conception to post-launch monitoring and improvements.
• Define, track, and report on key business metrics & market responses, including feature penetration, features acceptance, product promotion and customer satisfaction. 
• Work with marketing & sales on new products launch and promotion.
• Utilize strong project management and technical leadership to drive computer products development for sales.
 

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware/Solutions, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability for organization goals. 
• Proven record that includes 5+ years in product management of Intel/AMD-based servers, storage, HPC, networking etc. 
• Experience in managing aggressive and dynamic projects, with competing resources and priorities. 
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end product lifecycle 
• Proven quantitative, analytical, and technical skills.
• Superior communication and teamwork skills; Fluency in oral and written English is a must. Additional language skills are a plus
• Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels; 
• Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• BSEE/CS, or equivalent. MSEE is desirable
