Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in networking solution, especially in switch products. You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal switch products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking switch product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Responsible for technical services and work directly with customers resolving technical issues including server systems, PC systems and computer peripherals. Identifying technical issues and resolve computer hardware & software problems. 
  • Establish and maintain lines of communication with sales team to discuss services and technical issues. 
  • Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products. Create and maintain professional relationships with customers. 
  • Provide service to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues. Help 24hrs technical support phone/email and weekly FAQ.
     

Qualifications:

  • Engineering or computer science degree with 3+ years related work experience.
  • Strong sense of team work, organizational skills, and a good team player. 
  • Ownership (take full responsibility & accountability to the assigned projects and tasks). 
  • Integrity (Say what you do and do what you say). 
  • Good communication (quick response to mails and phone calls to you). 
  • Solid technical skills (understand what you are doing).
