Job Summary:
The Test Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of products during production. This position involves conducting inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting production processes to maintain high-quality standards. The Test Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve testing processes, and enhance overall production efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- MB/Add-On-Card/RSC/Memory/Backplane Incoming Quality Control
- Execute Visual Inspection / Function Test / Flash firmware for MB/Add-On-Card/Riser Cards /Memory/Back panel
- Fault isolate and identify root causes for failed MB/Add-On-Card/Riser Cards/Memory/ Back panel
- Perform ECO and rework
- Develop scripts or batch file for testing
- Perform stress tests or other similar tests of production products
- Support system test and debug
- Support works on the production line
- Willing to do assigned tasks as required by the company
- Support testing supervisor and technicians
- Reporting status of testing area
- Testing capacity and equipment availability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or high-tech industry.
- Knowledge and experience of server systems is plus.
- Strong knowledge of computer architecture. Knowledge of DOS, Window and Linux is a plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.). Experience with analytical tools/software such as Minitab, Power BI, or other statistical analysis programs is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with production operators, technicians, and cross functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with a proactive approach.
