Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will report to the Director, Credit and Accounts Receivable. This position's primary role is in helping manage the collections to meet company goals on a weekly and monthly basis.  In addition, the AR manager will monitor AR transactions and perform aspects of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting close process within the Accounts Receivable Department. This individual has the ability to manage people and work as part of a large team. Great interpersonal skills, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to follow procedures accurately, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job included but not limited to:

  • Manage collections to meet company goals on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitor daily AR transactions as related to general ledger to ensure validity and accuracy
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies in the proper accounting periods.
  • Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries related to AR accounting area
  • Prepare monthly account analysis for AR balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Assist in quarterly review and annual audit with external and internal auditors
  • Assist in development and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance team operations
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned


  • B.S. or B.A in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ Years Prior AR Manager experience preferred
  • 5+ years of accounts receivable experience from high growth firm in the high-tech manufacturing industry
  • SOX and Revenue recognition knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP a plus
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate, including written and oral, across all levels of the organization
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • The ability to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure and focus under pressure and deadline
