What You'll Do
- UEFI BIOS Development: Design and develop UEFI BIOS for desktops, servers, and workstations.
- BIOS Porting: Perform BIOS porting for desktop, server board, and workstation platforms.
- Customer Support: Provide engineering support to customers, addressing BIOS-related issues and ensuring optimal system functionality.
- Project Management: Manage project schedules from design to production, ensuring timely delivery and product quality.
- Testing and Optimization: Test functionality and reliability, optimizing system efficiency and compatibility across configurations.
- Linux Kernel Development: Work on related Linux kernel development and device drivers to ensure comprehensive system performance.
- Collaboration: Consult and coordinate with other engineering staff to evaluate design specifications and system functions, ensuring all project requirements are met.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in low-level software development, with a strong background in BIOS development (Legacy BIOS or UEFI).
- Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Assembly for software design is a plus.
- Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Team player with a passion for software development and excellent communication skills.
- Please note: This position requires regular in-office attendance for collaboration, meetings, and training sessions.

Salary Range
$85,000 - $146,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
