Job Summary:

Supermicro is currently seeking for a Buyer/Product Manager with experience in key component procurement. The primary responsibilities will be to forecast, execute procurement, inventory management and new product release of AMD or Seagate products. Interface with System PM/Sales co-promote Seagate & AMD products within Supermicro and develop the relationship with multiple suppliers. The candidate must be able to work under high demand and fast paced environment and detail follow up the engineering issue with well coordination cross division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Supply Chain management :
    • define price structure
    • secure allocation and L/T commitment for possible upside or urgent request.
    • coordinate promotion program and marketing event
    • manage product life cycle to make sure system project transfer smoothly
  • Continue work on cost reduction plan and execution
  • New product release and promotion.
  • Inventory and PO management
  • Coordinate engineering questions

Qualifications:

  • Good team player and capable to coordinate with multiple devisions.
  • Quick learning or experienced in IT industry, server/storage companies are preferable .
  • Experiences in vendor relationship management  
  • Familiar with key component products in server/storage system.
  • Engineering background is preferable
  • Language - English & Mandarin
