Job Summary:

Seeking a Chassis Product Manager who can lead and manage Super Micro server chassis product development, review product design and specification, control product schedule, and ensure time-to-market product launch and on-time delivery. This individual will have the capability to work together with cross-functional team to enable and develop application-optimized, competitive server chassis products and drive Super Micro server chassis business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Develop and manage the entire product life cycle of server chassis, covering the product development phase: including conception, specification, scheduling, prototyping, and tooling
• Define and execute the product roadmap for chassis solutions, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to review and refine chassis mechanical, thermal, and system architecture designs, ensuring high-quality, competitive server chassis products
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive time-to-market product launches and ensure on-time delivery
• Work closely with overseas ODM vendors on chassis design and development, including design reviews, tooling fabrication, and manufacturing setup and production ramp-up
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance product specifications and optimize user experience
• Utilize strong project management and technical leadership to drive Super Micro server chassis products business and promote products to global teams and customers

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in engineering discipline is strongly desirable
• 0-2 years of experience in server or IT hardware industry is preferred
• Product development and management experience in server chassis mechanical, thermal, and system design
• Strong knowledge of server system architecture, chassis, hardware and applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage from technical details to big picture
• Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and presenting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Individual must be able to work effectively in a highly paced environment
• Bilingual (Mandarin and English) is a plus

Salary Range

$89,000 - $150,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
