Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Component Product Manager who will be responsible for promotion of software solution sale. You will work with partner to provide pre-sale, post-sales support to sales, FAE and solution PM team. The support includes deal registrations, product specification, configuration, pricing, and order transaction. You will contribute with increasing revenue of software sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Work with sales, FAE and PM team to drive solution sales
  • Provide pre-sales, post-sales support and product training to sales and FAE
  • Review partner contract, enable new SW product, negotiate pricing and manage product life cycle
  • Understand partner product deeply including specification, application, pricing, supporting model and order flow
  • Work on cross-team collaboration on solution project from RFQ to finial delivery.
  • Manage SW partner relation and joint marketing activities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Product Management and Business Development
  • Must have bachelor or higher degree in EE or CS
  • Ability to digest software licensing, solution, and service
  • Familiar with computer hardware, software and application
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good at multi-tasking, prioritizing and dealing with constant changes
  • Strong organizational and procedural skills, self-driven and a team player
  • Knowledge of software defined storage is plus
