Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a results-oriented senior Human Resources professional leader who possesses a solid skill set and experience. The person holding this key position must be an effective business partner with concentration in Compensation related responsibilities, also with strong collaboration, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills who has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. The desired candidate will have a successful track record as a HR Director, including strengths in compensation, recruiting, training, policies, compliance, employee relations, as well as, international human resources related projects.
This position will be based out of headquarter office in San Jose, CA and will be interacting with all levels of management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze company’s competitive position
- Design and guide practices for job evaluations, market matching, pay decisions and governance with a mind for creative solutions and integration of market trends and fit for purpose practices
- Lead all compensation initiatives, in particular the strategy and execution of job leveling, salary surveys, conducting an overarching compensation analysis and updating compensation structure for all positions
- Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to compile additional data intelligence to supplement other market data
- Partnering with the Director, HR Business Partners and Finance on compensation budgets and planned Talent reviews
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures
- Ensure that employee relation issues, including the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, are managed effectively and efficiently
- Ensure that Super Micro’s HR practices remains in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations
- Serve as leaders on HR projects and collaborate closely with local HR leaders in other operation sites
- Serve as a day-to-day advisor and coach to managers and employees in all human resource areas, effectively balance the business interests of the client group and the company
- Build professional relationships with business leaders, provide expertise in areas on workforce planning and retention to drive business success
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree, major in HR or Business-related field.
- 15 years + experience in Human Resources field with at least 7 years as leader in HRBP or operation function

Experience in hardware and/or electronic manufacturing environment is highly desirable

People-centric professional – ability to communicate and interact efficiently with all level of employees

Solid interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to handle and resolve complex issues with high-level of ambiguity

Ability to partner, consult, and coach senior management as a valued HR leader
Salary Range
Salary Range: $165,000 - $205,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
