Job Summary:

The Engineering Technician will support the hardware engineering team by providing technical assistance during production and performing various board-level and system-level testing tasks. This internship provides hands-on experience in hardware design processes, testing methodologies, and production troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Support hardware engineers with board-level and system-level testing.
• Assist with hardware debugging and validation tests.
• Provide technical support during production, including diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues.
• Document test procedures, results, and observed hardware anomalies.
• Collaborate closely with the hardware design and production teams to ensure smooth production processes.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with fundamental electrical engineering and computer system concepts.
• Basic knowledge of hardware debugging tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and independently manage assigned tasks.

Salary Range

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
