Job Summary:

Supermicro, a global leader in server technology and innovation is designing a company around people committed to work with passion and to define what is possible is in our Marketing team as a whole. The ideal Event Marketing Specialist must have an excellent communication and leadership skills with a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for managing strategies and execution of all corporate events and tradeshows throughout the year. This is a key role, so we expect you to amaze us with your project management and organization skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Responsible for the strategy and execution for all company events and tradeshows

• Responsible for planning and program management

• Increase event attendance through marketing efforts

• Create and execute marketing plan (program goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, presentations, collateral, event website and registration, event logistics and, event ROI, etc.)

• Track status, progress, and ROI of all marketing campaigns

 

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree with technical background is preferred

•  5 years marketing experience preferred

•  3 years experience in event marketing planning role in a high tech company preferred

• Strong knowledge on event strategy, operations, and integrated event marketing

• Ability to create program goals, messaging, communication and overall event plans with minimum supervision

• Exceptional budget management, negotiation ,and organizational skills

• Superior communication skills with the ability to work across all levels in an organization and with external event agencies

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills

• Proven team player who works hard, is both a team and individual contributor

Salary Range

$67,000 - $100,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
