Job Summary:
Supermicro R&D lab department is looking for a General Manager, Validation Engineering to improve quality system. In this role, you will work closely with existing lab management team to help the quality system raise to higher lever.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Give guidance to leaders in design quality and system test engineering to identify and construct testing frameworks, system test strategies, and related processes to incorporate quality into each stage of the development process
- Work together with leaders from R&D, Product Management, and other cross-functional groups to define and guide the requirements for the overall engineering process, design specifications; making sure that all requirements are implementable, quantifiable, and testable
- Lead component lever validation and system lever validation plan and process improvement. Work with existing management team to do continue improvement
- Work with team members to make prevention plan for any quality issue happens in production and customer side
- Provide design improvement suggestion when find out any issue related with design quality and design guideline
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or with equivalent experiences; Master’s degree is highly desirable
- Minimum of 17 years of motherboard, server R&D and quality control experiences, with 5 years in management highly preferred
- Strong organizational, planning, and presentational skills
- Solid interpersonal (written and verbal communication) and project management skills, able to influence and lead dynamic groups in corporate environment efficiently
- In-depth knowledge in motherboard and server industry and its application

Salary Range: $210,000 - $285,000
