Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer is looking for a results-oriented Human Resources professional who possesses a solid skill set and experience. The person holding this key position must be an effective business partner with strong collaboration, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills who has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. The desired candidate will have a successful track record as an HR Business Partner including strengths in compensation, recruiting, talent management, HR training, policies, compliance, employee relations. This position will be based out of headquarter office in San Jose, CA and will be interacting with all levels of management while fostering a positive work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Business Partner job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals, workforce challenges, and strategic priorities, and translate them into actionable HR solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to support managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Coach and influence leaders on employee development, talent management, engagement, retention strategies, succession planning and performance improvement.
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team to identify workforce needs, develop staffing plans, and support the recruitment and selection process.
- Advise business leaders on compensation decisions including competitive offer packages, salary adjustments, retention recommendations, promotional increases, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Help develop and deliver training programs that are key in supporting the achievement of business strategies through individual and group development sessions.
- Analyze workforce metrics, HR data, and business trends to identify opportunities, recommend solutions and support informed decision-making.
- Develop and implement HR Programs and initiatives based on business needs.
- Addressing employee concerns, investigating and resolving conflicts with fairness and discretion by fostering a positive workplace culture that builds strong relationship between employees and management.
- Partner with managers and leadership teams to set clear goals and to establish performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and create meaningful development plans that drive employee growth and accountability.
- Ensure that Super Micro’s HR practices remain in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations
- Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives providing strategic recommendations and implementing practical solutions to support business needs.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5 to 8 years of HR experience ideally in hardware manufacturing industry.
- Strong business acumen, decision-making and judgment skills and the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset that seeks to understand and exceed business needs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience working with Radford compensation data. Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
- Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and flexibly. High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast pace and dynamic environment, able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and ability to lead towards growth culture.
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$100,000 - $150,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
