Job Summary:
We’re hiring a hands-on Hardware Engineer to support server products across our production lines and customer data centers. You will start embedded at production to learn our processes, build and maintain test fixtures, execute testing, and triage issues with design, manufacturing, and customers. As you ramp, you’ll expand into system bring-up assistance and debugging. We are looking for a self-starter, motivated and talented engineer who has passion for hardware engineering. Familiarity with server hardware is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Bring up and maintain functional test stations and fixtures; write/update work instructions; train operators; drive daily issue triage and containment.
- Work with EE/ME and manufacturing to meet ramp schedules and support NPI -> MP transfer with clear documentation.
- Write and maintain debug procedures for production screening.
- Plan and execute validation for connectors/cabling.
- Partner with customer/DC ops and internal FAEs to reproduce field issues and drive root cause/containment.
- Convert lessons learned into design guidelines and validation checklists for future platforms.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering. 1–2+ years in FAE, validation, NPI, or test/fixture design.
- Hands-on experience with connectors/cabling and custom mechanical solutions for electrical testing.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- System and component debugging skills.
- Self-motivated team player with ability to lead the project in fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally to on-site support customers and production.
- Basic coding/data skills for test analysis.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $125,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
