Supermicro is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Warehouse Manager to support our warehouses and distribution centers in San Jose, CA. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Shipping and Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations while leading a team to meet and exceed goals in receiving, inventory control, and shipping. What You'll Do:
- Champion a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment that meets or exceeds daily operational goals in receiving, stocking, inventory control, and shipping.
- Lead and oversee warehousing activities, including receiving, physical inventory management, distribution, and space optimization.
- Execute daily warehouse checklists and maintain compliance with established warehouse procedures.
- Collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvements in warehouse processes, enhancing quality and reducing costs.
- Manage employee schedules, set performance standards, and conduct evaluations to foster growth and accountability.
- Provide weekend supervisory coverage as needed and act as a point of escalation for operational issues.
- Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and proactively address any concerns.
- Understand and perform the duties of the Senior Warehouse Manager in their absence.
- Engage in cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between warehouse operations and corporate objectives.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring priorities are met and deadlines are achieved.
What You'll Bring:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of team management and process improvement.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership abilities to direct and develop team members effectively, including performance evaluations and corrective actions.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with internet-based tools.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Mechanical aptitude for process improvements and routine maintenance is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and enforce adherence to process and safety standards.
- Work Environment:
- This is an on-site role requiring regular in-office attendance. Candidates must be prepared for in-person collaboration, team meetings, and other on-site responsibilities.
What We Offer:
$96,000 - $110,000
- Competitive salary ranging from $96,000 to $110,000, based on experience, skills, and other factors.
