Job Summary:

As a Production Engineer, you will support the NPI process, assist with validation and system testing of new server hardware and software products, resolve production issues, and coordinate with R&D, Project/Product Management (PM), and Lab teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • NPI Support: Assist in integrating new server products into the production line and support production planning.
  • Validation of New Products: Conduct or assist with testing and evaluations of new server products, ensuring accurate documentation of results.
  • System Testing and Debugging: Perform system testing and debugging for server hardware and software to verify functionality and performance.
  • Problem Identification and Solving: Monitor production for server hardware and software issues, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication and Coordination: Provide clear updates and coordinate with R&D, PM, and Lab teams to ensure smooth NPI and validation processes.
  • Server Product Knowledge (Beneficial): Utilize knowledge of server products to enhance production processes and address specific challenges.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving production processes and efficiency, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Electric Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • 5+ years relevant work experience with Rack, system, and server industry.
  • Experience in production or manufacturing roles, with exposure to NPI and product validation.
  • Familiarity with server hardware and software products is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

Salary Range

$73,500 - $100,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
