Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Administrator to join our marketing team on a 9-month contract basis. This role will provide essential support for marketing operations, events, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously, handling budgets, and collaborating effectively across teams with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end event giveaway purchasing and holiday gifts projects, including sourcing, budgeting, and execution.
- Manage sample allocation projects to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Conduct marketing fund reviews, including tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Provide meeting administration support, including scheduling, coordination, preparation of materials, and follow-up.
- Handle marketing inventory management, including tracking, storage, and shipping logistics.
- Support planning and execution of campus project and staff events.
- Assist with internal communications related to events, trainings, and other marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS in relevant field
- 2+ years of working experience
- Proficient in MS Office and creative design
- Technical knowledge in computer or web design is a plus
- Demonstrate knowledge of event leadership, vendor management, and working with many internal processes
- Exceptional budget management, contract and organization skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and to follow through on them with limited supervision
- Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and proactively with team members
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to work across all levels in the organization
Salary Range
$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
