Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to take our marketing promotions to the next level. Supermicro is growing fast by increasingly addressing enterprise-class needs with Fortune 1000 companies and is building the marketing team to support the company in that endeavor. The candidate will drive Supermicro's Marketing Projects marketing efforts including the full range of promotions and marketing assets including brochures, videos, social content, event demos, sales decks, webinars, etc.  This will require working closely with key internal peers including the Sales, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Web Operations, Geography Marketing and others to drive value for our customers and partners. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of rack level solutions including liquid cooling offerings and the evolving server/storage hardware market and the technical depth to develop informed deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job included but not limited to:

  • Coordinates the operations of a marketing campaign. Planning, executing, and delivering projects within defined scope, budget and timeline constraints.
  • Manage resources, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed effectively.
  • Developing a detailed project plan, including scope, objectives, tasks, timelines and resource allocation.
  • Tracking project performance against planned objectives, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Effectively communicating project status, challenges, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Identifying and resolving project issues and challenges.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining comprehension of fundamental knowledge what campaign/launch/project core value

Qualifications:

• Technical degree preferred (Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, …) or related field

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Servers, Liquid Cooling, and/or Rack Solution Marketing

• Experience in an IT Infrastructure technology company (hardware or software) with knowledge of the marketing and sales cycle preferred

• Experience in leading marketing promotion programs

• Strong ability to understand the server and data center value chain preferred

• Strong written and verbal communications required

Salary Range

$100,000 - $130,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
