Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Application Validation Engineer to join the testing team based out of our San Jose headquarter office. This position will be working closely with SW and design team to test and validate memories on motherboards, systems; discover Memory, hardware and software issues collaboratively. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in enterprise motherboards and its components with strong testing knowledge, able to work effectively in team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Execution of the entire life-cycle of memory validation/qualification.
  • Providing engineering support to enhance memory system capabilities, including but not limited to technical and procedural methodology enhancement.
  • Technical support for debug of memory system issues found during bring up and validation.
  • Report memory quality issues into bug tracking systems. Document and analyze test data.
  • Maintain and improve validation test plans and test instructions


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with focus on high speed memory technologies and memory controllers and/or I/O controllers.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SOC design verification, memory validation and / or SOC IP electrical characterization.
  • Extensive experience with memory debug techniques and methodologies.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of memory subsystems
  • In-depth knowledge of PC architectures and system technologies.
  • Python scripting, Windows, and Linux
  • Strong sense of team work and a good team player, strong communication skills in both speaking and writing
