Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Procurement teams to coordinate forecast meetings, foster cross-team alignment, and support planning initiatives.
Strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and deadline management are essential. You will generate reports, analyze trends, and interpret data using tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and thorough validation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports to support forecasting and business review processes.
- Assist in developing and enhancing data management systems to improve forecasting capabilities.
- Maintain and update forecasts on a daily and weekly basis to reflect the latest trends and insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Project Management, Product Management, and Procurement—to facilitate and support Sales Forecast meetings, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
- Support system enhancements and changes related to operations and data workflows.
- Provide strategic and analytical support to management for organizational planning and decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by applying best practices in data collection, validation, and analysis.
- Monitor internal client and team feedback to identify and recommend process improvements.
- Champion and uphold the company’s mission, vision, and core values in daily activities.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building abilities.
- Proficient in spreadsheet analysis with strong mathematical and quantitative skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Required Experience
- Two years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and functionality.
- Two years of experience in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
Salary Range
$68,640 - $95,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
