Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Server Product Engineer with experience in server architecture and willing to take lead in the product development. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge in the market, customer and supply chain. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to develop, validate new server product, to deliver product which meets the best performance and quality.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales and customers for complete server solution setup and troubleshooting

• Work with Production to ensure product quality
• Proactively engage in learning and researching about new technology products
• Lead the development and integration of server system products



• Bachelor's degree in EE, CE, CS, ME, ISE with 2 years of product engineering experience is preferred
• Experience in configuring computer systems
• Strong knowledge with computer architectures
• Experience in PCB design is a plus
• Familiar with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Good communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Prior experience configuring and assembling computer systems

• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Occasional bending and standing.

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Primarily works indoors in an office setting with controlled climate conditions
