Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a System Product Manager to enable European pre-sales and post-sales system solutions activities.  Two primary focus are supporting Sales/FAE standard product configuration solutions and managing customized OEM configuration life cycle.  He/She will work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements, collaborate with different departments such as Product Management, Sales, Lab and RMA to provide a smooth operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales/FAE for Standard Server and OEM system business practices.  Provide support to define customer requirements, develop and drive localized/customized server products to full product life cycle.
  • Define and release OEM configuration and design, drive the OEM products from conceptual to EOL stage.
  • Utilize strong project management and technical leadership to drive server products development and solution optimization for EMEA sales.
  • Lead cross-function teams for post-sales supports such as RMA, failure analysis, ECO implementations, etc.
  • Provide documentation and technical know-how to support Standard and OEM system production lines.
  • Up to 15% of business travel.
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Engineering or Physical Science
  • 4+ years of Computer Systems technology or related experience
  • Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership to provide full project support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Additional languages (Dutch, German, French, Mandarin, etc.) preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours engaging European teams
