Job Summary:

This Product Manager (front-end focus PM) is responsible for promoting Supermicro’s current selling Intel server products during the products’ lifecycle, to ensure best early customer engagement and maximizing business opportunities (in both customer base and revenue growth).  As a front-end PM, you need to work closely with Sales and Extended Teams to ensure overall product proposal meets customer requirements and therefore lock down the deals. The ultimate goal of this role is to help the company increase market shares and sales revenue for the assigned products, in the assigned regional market(s), through best customer services, efficient technical support, timely product promotions & trainings, and effective and efficient new business development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute company’s market expansion strategy under the guidance and leadership of direct reporting supervisor as well as UP server motherboard product management team.
  • Track your business growth plan and activities in report format and send the report to your supervisor on weekly & monthly basis. 
  • Visiting customers on regular basis to enhance business relationship and to promote assigned products towards the goal of business growth, in terms of volume and revenue.
  • Keep updated with the latest computer technologies and UP motherboard product knowledge through various available trainings and self-learning.
  • Provide product trainings to sales team, FAE team and customers, as needed.
  • Work cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate plans and strategies based on product plans and roadmaps.
  • Manage and leads teams during new business opportunity exploration and issue investigation in the field.  Provide timely, accurate and valuable information to management via report.
  • Escalate critical customer issues to management for issue awareness and solutions in timely manner for best customer satisfaction.
  • Periodical business travels are required with advanced planning and predefined goals.

Qualifications:

  • A BS, CS or equivalent BSEE degree with 5+ years’ computer industry working experiences and business presentation skills.
  • Excellent people skill and communicate skills in speaking, writing as well as social media.
  • Approved knowledge and experiences in server systems, computer peripherals and services are required.
  • Strong sense of teamwork, organizational skills, and a good team player.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated and result-oriented team player with career dedication.
  • Ownership (take full responsibility & accountability to the assigned projects and tasks).
  • Reliable & accountable working attitude with integrity (Say what you do and do what you say).
  • Positive communication attitude  (quick response to mails/phone calls to you) and business sense is required
  • Cross functional/divisional Coordination experiences are preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
