Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Product Manager who is a good team player with engineering, supply chain, lab, system or operation background. The Product Manager must be well organized in product management, product promotion or business development with excellent communication skills with internal multifunctional teams and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):


• Responsible for initiating, planning, executing and monitoring assigned project(s) to keep schedule and on budget

• Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, and taking corrective actions as necessary to solve issues and meet project goals

• Work with sales, product managers and customers to do product promotion and achieve goals

• Coordinate with internal multifunctional teams to do engineering improvement to some products

• Support other planning, purchasing and reporting activities as directed by manager

Qualifications:


• BS or BA degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years’ working experience in product management, product promotion or business development in IT industry preferred

• Team player with strong organizational skills and result-oriented sense of work

• Engineering or business development background; MBA is a plus

• Language, Fluent in English (Mandarin speaker is a plus)

• Excellent in Written and Verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in using MS Office suite to prepare project reports

• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.

• Occasional bending and standing.

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 15 pounds.
