Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Quality Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach our customers. The Production Quality Manager, will oversee the inspection of the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to standards and meets customer expectations. A great Production Quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail. They must fully understand the requirements for the products and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop objective of quality standards for the manufacturing process
  • Define and establish quality plan and procedures
  • Serve as the quality leader to ensure standards are achieved
  • Create quality standards for new products or OEM customer
  • Support failure analysis and investigate customer's quality concerns
  • Maintain and improve ISO implementation and other OEM customer's requirement
  • Know how to maintain product quality with high demand of expedite shipment
  • Define, develop, and continuously improve quality standards for component and mechanical parts used in Company products
  • Maintain as contact window for the department to work with support team in addressing customer field returns and drive root cause and failure analysis, down to component levels
  • Be the champion in promoting Supermicro Quality Systems and continuously raise our standards
  • Support other quality job functions as required
  • Serve as lead lecture in all employee training on Production Systems and Quality Systems subject matters
  • Job assignments require travels to customers, CM or supplier, and global sites

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years and more of relevant management experience in electronic and computer product and quality management systems in the computer industry.
  • A strong plus with product quality essentials of a product company in server and high-end computing industry.
  • Need working knowledge and prior experience in system integration business.
  • Familiarity of customer service to champion product quality and specifications.
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills in problem solving.
  • Experience in hands-on operations and quality audit hosting.
  • Excellent writing style and demonstrated expertise in procedures and documents.

Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
