Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician to perform incoming quality control (IQC) of electronic circuit assembly boards and testing of defective products to ensure quality up to company design standards and customer needs. The person will follow supervisor's instructions to execute the daily IQC test operation, follow test procedure (SOP), and schedule to meet daily demand and quality. In addition, the person should be able to work efficiently in fast paced production environment. Due to business needs, candidate may be required to work overtime during weekday and in weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Visual inspection / function test for electronic assembly boards (PCBA)

• PCBA incoming quality control, data entry

• Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed boards

• Perform product engineering change jobs (ECO) and model change jobs

• Support works on the production line

• May work over-time and weekends per business needs

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or some college experiences
• Basic written and oral English
• Basic electronic and computer hardware knowledge is advantage
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in electronic and computer industry
• Experience in production testing PCBA a plus
• Candidate with less relevant work experience and knowledge can be considered as junior position (Production Operator). On-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidate.

Salary Range

$18.13/hr - $27.75/hr 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
