Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician - Testing to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. The ideal candidate will execute the daily incoming quality control for PCBA by following the procedures, touch up and rework by soldering stations. in a face paced environment. Due to business needs, candidate may work overtime and on the weekends. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • PCBA Incoming Quality Control
  • Visual Inspection / Function Test / Flash firmware for PCBA
  • Assist test engineer / supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed PCBA
  • Perform ECO jobs and Model Change tasks.
  • Support works on the production line 
  • Willing to do assigned tasks as required by the company
  • PCBA include MotherBoard, Add-On-Card, Backplane, Mid-plane, Riser card, Memory module
  • Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements
  • Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment
  • Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor


  • High school graduate is required. College graduated is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electronic and computer hardware knowledge is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in component repair rework a plus
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair defective PCBA is a huge plus
  • Basic written and oral English
  • Experience working in a fast paced production area
