Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a passionate and highly-motivated Project Manager to facilitate validation phase of server product development. As the validation project manager, you will be responsible for driving daily activities and tracking weekly project progress. You will be utilizing your interpersonal and problem-solving skills to coordinate internal resources and ensure overall test execution and project milestones. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery and requirement fulfilment to stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Act as a single validation contact point to assigned validation project(s)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, dependencies and deliverables
• Collect and review requirements to ensure product eligibility for system compatibility testing
• Responsible for cross-functional team communication and weekly status monitoring of project(s)
• Work with related teams to maintain and generate system qualified component list (QCL) during product development stage
• Host meeting with internal database developers for test site(s) issue review and feature enhancements
• Collaborate with internal teams for continuous process improvement and software tool enhancements
• Continual knowledge development of current and new server products and technology

Qualifications:

• B.S. in electrical or computer related engineering field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
• Minimum 2 years of experience in servers/computer industry is preferred
• Knowledge of product development processes including waterfall and agile method is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and delegate with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and proactive with problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities
• Proficiency in presentation and spreadsheet software

Salary Range

$70,000 - $148,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
